Echocardiograph Technologist

Schedule: Full-Time / Day Shift
Sign-on Bonus: $6,000 for eligible external candidates meeting all payment conditions. Benefits and compensation begin on day one.

Salary range: USD $92,913 to $144,248

Position Overview
We are hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Echocardiograph Technologist to join their growing cardiovascular team. In this role, you will perform cardiac ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians using advanced diagnostic equipment. You will identify cardiovascular diseases through detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and assist with invasive procedures such as transesophageal echocardiography, trans-catheter guidance, pericardiocentesis, biopsies, contrast exams, and stress echocardiography. This position requires flexibility in adapting procedures for efficiency while maintaining compliance with American Society of Echocardiography standards and departmental policies. Shared on-call coverage is required for evenings and weekends, including regional support and weekend rotations.

Required Qualifications

  • Oregon Sonographer license upon hire
  • National Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI), Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) upon hire
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from a CAAHEP-accredited program in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • 1+ year of experience performing cardiovascular ultrasounds (or completion of 800+ exams across modalities)
  • Pediatric echocardiography experience
  • Familiarity with advanced heart failure imaging, including mechanical assist devices
  • Experience supporting echo-guided trans-catheter procedures
