Assignment Location: Colorado, USA
We are seeking experienced and professional Psychiatric Registered Nurses for a long-term, sponsored opportunity in Colorado, USA. This is a structured 3-year contract within a state-operated inpatient mental health hospital serving patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
This role is suited for nurses who are confident working in secure, high-acuity behavioral health environments and managing complex psychiatric presentations.
Position Overview
- Provide direct care to patients with complex psychiatric diagnoses (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, severe mood disorders)
- Work within structured inpatient and secure behavioral health settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists
- Manage high-acuity behavioral health cases using evidence-based interventions
- Support recovery-oriented models of care
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing (Diploma RNs considered with strong relevant experience)
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
- Inpatient mental health facilities
- Detention centres
- Correctional facilities
- Settings managing complex psychiatric conditions
- English proficiency meeting Colorado Board of Nursing standards (IELTS or equivalent)
- Successfully passed the NCLEX-RN
- Eligibility and willingness to relocate to Colorado, USA for a 3-year sponsored contract
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in U.S. healthcare
- Active U.S. state RN licence eligible for endorsement
- Experience working within multidisciplinary psychiatric teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity behavioral health environments
- Interest in long-term relocation, including potential Green Card sponsorship after 6 months
Compensation and Relocation Package
Hourly Rate:
$42.00 – $60.00 USD per hour (depending on experience)
